Strategic Energy Initiative
To support continued economic growth and ensure a high standard of living in Western Australia, the State Government has begun developing a framework that delivers secure, reliable, competitive and cleaner energy in this state.
Feed-in tariff
A net feed-in tariff scheme will be introduced in Western Australia from 1 July 2010. The new tariff will be paid on all excess electricity exported to the grid from small-scale household renewable energy systems.
Underground Power Program
Local governments are invited to submit expressions of interest for round five of the Underground Power Program.
